Feeding Instructions
Add Backcountry Freeze-Dried Raw as a mixer to your dog’s regular food. When adding mixers, be sure to reduce the amount of other food served accordingly to avoid overfeeding.
Feed up to 1/4 cup for every 15 lbs of body weight. This product is intended for intermittent or supplemental feeding only.
Every dog is a little different, so optimal feeding amounts may vary with age, size, and activity level. Keep a clean bowl of fresh water available at all times.
Serve as – is or rehydrate by adding 1/4 cup of water per 1 cup of Backcountry Freeze – Dried Raw. Using the chart, divide the total number per day by the total number of times you feed your dog per day to determine the portion size for each meal.
For dogs over 50 lbs: Add 3/4 cup per additional 10 lbs.
Transition Instructions
Gradually mix in the new food over a 5 – 7 day period, increasing the amount of Backcountry Real Chicken Recipe each day.
